Paper Quilling Supplies

Paper Quilling Supplies

Choose a starter or project quilling kit

Decide whether you need tools and paper for first coils or only the supplies for a specific design.

Check the actual tool list

Look for a winding tool and a way to size the coils if the project uses repeat parts. Check separately for tweezers, glue and a working board. Photos may show examples, so use the exact kit contents.

Check the paper measurements and palette

Count strips by width, length and color. A large total can include small quantities of each color. For a design with many matching pieces, check the quantity of the main color before ordering.

Check how the instructions guide you

A general starter kit can teach several common forms. A project kit may include pattern cards or paper shaped for one result. Choose one that explains the sequence and supplies the tools you are missing.

Guide questions

Will a flower strip set work as a first kit?

Check whether it includes a winding tool, instructions and glue or only pre-cut paper. A paper-only project pack works when you already own the required tools.

What if the project needs many identical coils?

Check for a sizing tool and enough of the same width, length and color. The total number of strips can include other shades.

What should I add to a paper-only pack?

Supply the winding and shaping tools required by the design. Check the instructions for glue and backing as well.

Which accessory suits the job?

  1. Choose the starter kit to learn both winding styles. Choose the card kit if you want a set of card blanks and already have a card layout in mind.

  2. Both use narrow 3 mm strips. Choose the 960-strip version for longer paper, an extra template and included white glue.

  3. Both list twenty blanks and five envelopes. The flower kit includes 360 strips, while the spring kit includes 180 and two winding pens.

  4. Choose the rose blanks if you need two pre-cut starting diameters. Choose the petal set to try several cut profiles and an embossing stylus.
